Wike Challenges Amaechi To Account For Alleged $308m Gas Turbine Proceeds

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has again challenged former Rivers State governor and former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, to account for $308 million he alleged was realised from the sale of Rivers State gas turbines during Amaechi’s administration.
Wike also challenged national television stations to invite Amaechi for an interview and question him on the whereabouts of the funds.
The FCT minister made the allegations on Saturday during a town hall meeting with the Ogbakor Etche and other stakeholders in Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State.
