Wike Orders Closure Of Secretariat Handling Sale Of Federal Government Houses

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has ordered the immediate shutdown of the Secretariat of the dissolved Ad-hoc Committee on Sales of Federal Government Houses in the territory. The directive was disclosed by the minister’s senior special assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, in a statement. Olayinka said Wike had also approved the establishment of a dedicated division in the Department of Land Administration to take over the functions previously performed by the dissolved committee.
