The World Bank has confirmed that Anambra State did not indicate interest in participating in its 2024 HOPE-Governance Programme, dismissing media reports that the state was denied access to the facility over alleged failure to meet required performance benchmarks.
The clarification was contained in a statement issued at the weekend by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Chukwuma Soludo, Mr Christian Aburime.
