World Breastfeeding Week: First Lady urges mothers to embrace healthy living

The First Lady of Nigeria, Oluremi Tinubu, has urged mothers, particularly lactating mothers, to embrace healthy lifestyles and eat nutritious foods for their well-being and that of their children.
In a message to commemorate World Breastfeeding Week 2026, Mrs Tinubu joined the global community in supporting this year’s theme, “Breastfeeding for a Sustainable Start in Life: Strengthen What Works.”
She underscored the importance of breastfeeding, describing it as the foundation for a child’s healthy growth and lifelong development.
