World Cup: Nigerian-American group backs 2026 tour

The Nigerian-American Multicultural Council (NAMC), one of the leading Nigerian cultural organizations in the United States, has endorsed the Afro World Cup Tour (AWCT) 2026, the major African entertainment and cultural experience planned around the FIFA World Cup to be held in the United States this year.
The organization pledged its support for the Carter Efe-led tour and promised to work closely with organizers to promote the initiative within Nigerian and African diaspora communities in Houston and other participating cities.
