Yobe Govt Provides 800 Free Dialysis Sessions Monthly For Kidney Patients

The Yobe State Government, under the administration of Governor Mai Mala Buni, is providing 800 free dialysis sessions monthly to patients suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) as part of efforts to improve access to specialised healthcare and reduce the financial burden of treatment on patients and their families.
A statement issued by the Media Coordinator/Liaison Officer office of the SSG, Ibrahim Baba Saleh, said the Chief Medical Director of Yobe State University Teaching Hospital (YSUTH), Prof. Baba Waru Goni, disclosed this while presenting the hospital’s progress report on major healthcare interventions to the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Mohammed Goje.
