Zamfara agog as dignitaries gather to commission first commercial flight, state secretariat, others

Governor Dauda Lawal declared that his administration’s rescue mission is transforming Zamfara State across critical sectors.
He stated this on Thursday, when he commenced a series of events which marked the 30th anniversary of Zamfara State and 66th anniversary of Nigeria, featuring project commissioning, launching of first commercial flight, presentation of mosque for worshippers and others.
The 30th anniversary and commissioning were attended by the pioneer Military Administrator of Zamfara State, Col Jibril Bala Yakubu (Rtd), former governors Ahmed Sani Yarima, Mahmud Aliyu Shinkafi, the Sultan of Sokoto and other dignitaries.
