Zamfara approves 95% salary increase for health workers

The Zamfara State Government has approved a 95 per cent increase in the salaries of health workers across the state, with the new pay structure taking effect from September 7, 2026.
It said that the revised remuneration is aligned with the Federal Government’s approved health-sector salary structures, particularly the Consolidated Health Salary Structure (CONHESS).
