Leadership is often measured by the size of projects commissioned, the number of kilometres of roads constructed or the billions of naira announced in budgets. But there is another, more profound measure of leadership: how a government responds when its citizens suffer tragedy, particularly when the victims are the most vulnerable.
This is why the decision of Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, to build and present houses to two families whose parents were brutally lynched by a mob deserves more than passing mention.
