The Zamfara State Chairman of the Action Alliance (AA), Alhaji Ibrahim Aliyu, has condemned the reported attack on the party’s presidential candidate, Aare Adekunle Rufai Omoaje , describing the incident as a threat to democratic values and peaceful political engagement.
According to reports, Aare Adekunle Rufai Omoaje was reportedly attacked on Saturday while attending a burial ceremony in Osun State. 
The incident was said to have occurred after clashes involving supporters of rival political groups disrupted the event, forcing the Action Alliance presidential candidate to leave the venue for safety reasons.
