Bauchi Senator Donates Relief Materials, Cash To Rainstorm Victims

The lawmaker representing Bauchi South Senatorial District, Senator Shehu Buba Umar, has donated cash and relief materials to victims of a devastating rainstorm in Bara Village, Kirfi local government area of Bauchi State.
LEADERSHIP reports that the rainstorm claimed two women and destroyed 366 houses, 30 perimeter walls, and eight electricity poles. The disaster also swept away livestock, including cows, goats and sheep, while causing extensive damage to other property and valuables.
The relief package donated by the senator included N6.5 million in cash, 100 bags of rice, 100 bags of maize, 100 mattresses, 200 mats, 150 blankets, 100 wrappers, 100 bundles of kaftan materials for ma...
