Dickson meets Kwankwaso’s loyalists over Kano primaries’ dispute

National leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Seriake Dickson, has met with leaders of the Kwankwasiyya Movement over the lingering dispute surrounding the party’s primary election process in Kano State.
Held behind closed doors on Monday night, the meeting also had in attendance members of the NDC national leadership and representatives of the Kwankwasiyya movement led by the former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso.
The engagement was aimed at resolving disagreements between the Kwankwasiyya bloc and legacy officials of the party in Kano State ahead of the conclusion of the party’s nomination process.
