Ex-minister Kemi Adeosun’s husband dies at 62

Anthony Adeosun, husband of former Minister of Finance Kemi Adeosun, has died at the age of 62, a statement by the family said.
The businessman passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, in Lagos State.
The announcement, titled “Announcement of the passing of Mr Anthony Adeniyi (Niyi) Adeosun,” was issued by Rev. C. A. Adeosun on behalf of the family and made available to journalists on Thursday.
In the statement, the family described the late Anthony Adeosun as a distinguished businessman and a committed Christian whose life was marked by integrity, generosity and faith.
