The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), in partnership with Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), Gujarat, India, has commenced a 10-day international training programme on stress management and emotional well-being for law enforcement officers in Nigeria.
The programme, which commenced at the ICT Hall of the FRSC National Headquarters, Abuja, is expected to train 1,000 personnel drawn from the FRSC and other law enforcement and paramilitary agencies. Participants are being drawn from the Nigeria Police Force, Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Correctional Service, Nigeria Customs Service, Federal Fire Service and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
