ABUJA — The Obidient Movement has faulted the Federal Government’s 30-day petrol discount initiative, questioning the figures used to calculate fuel-related interventions and accusing the government of failing to provide sufficient transparency in the management of the petroleum sector.
The movement said the temporary discount raised questions about the government’s position on fuel subsidy following its decision to remove the scheme, arguing that Nigerians deserved affordable petrol and accountability in the use of public funds.
