I Will Not Abuse Tinubu, He Has All My Respect— Obi

The presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, Peter Obi, has said President Bola Tinubu has his respect, stressing that he would not resort to personal attacks or abuse against the President or any other political office holder.
Obi stated this on Friday at the 2026 All Nigeria Editors’ Conference in Enugu, held with the theme: “The Ballot, the Media and the Task of Keeping Democracy Alive.”
The former Anambra State governor spoke while addressing issues surrounding the state’s debt and the need for accountability in public office.
Obi said political disagreements should centre on policies, governance and performance rather than personal attacks.
