The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Disu, has approved the appointment of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Anietie Okokon Edem Iniedu as the new Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO) of the Nigeria Police Force.
Iniedu takes over from Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Anthony Okon Placid, who has been redeployed to the Lagos State Police Command.
The change comes barely three months after Placid’s appointment as Force PRO on March 8, 2026, following the exit of former spokesperson, ACP Benjamin Hundeyin.
