Osun Guber: Accord alleges rigging plot

The Accord in Osun State has alleged a plot by the All Progressives Congress, APC, to manipulate the voters’ register ahead of the August 15, 2026 governorship election, a claim the APC has firmly denied as fabricated.
In a statement issued by its Chairman, Pastor Victor Akande on Friday, Accord claimed it had uncovered details of a secret meeting allegedly held by APC leaders to direct the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Resident Electoral Commissioner, Oluwatoyin Babalola, to remove certain voters from the register.
