The Kogi State Police Command has announced that it will begin enforcing the mandatory use of reflective jackets with serial numbers and riders’ identification cards for all commercial motorcyclists across the state from July 1, 2026, as part of efforts to strengthen security and improve the identification of operators.
The command said the initiative is aimed at addressing security challenges and enhancing the traceability of commercial motorcycle riders operating within the state.
