Residents of Owa-Onire community, a tourist centre in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, have totally deserted their ancestral home following persistent attacks by armed bandits.
A viral video clip of the community showed that the whole community is now occupied by animals as the residents fled the town to safer areas for their lives.
The Nigeria Police have, however, taken control of the Kwara South Senatorial District and the affected community with the hope of restoring security.
