Senator Umeh: Obi remains more popular than Soludo

The senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Victor Umeh, has said the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, remains more popular than Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
Umeh made the remark on Tuesday during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today.
He spoke ahead of the 2027 general election while reacting to Soludo’s decision to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid rather than Obi.
“Today, no matter what Soludo does, Peter Obi will continue to be more popular than him, both in Nigeria and in Anambra State,” Umeh stated.
