Strong indications have emerged that the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) may review the list of candidates for the 2027 general elections, following the recent Supreme Court judgment restoring key provisions of the Electoral Act 2026.
This comes as the electoral umpire is set to publish an updated list of candidates for the 2027 general elections following the apex courts verdict.
Meanwhile, the electoral commission is expected to state its position on Supreme Court Verdict and other matters surrounding the 2027 election on Tuesday as a press conference.
