President Bola Tinubu has set a target to more than double the contribution of Nigeria’s livestock sector to the national economy, currently valued at more than $32 billion annually.
Tinubu, who spoke at the opening of the 9th All Africa Conference on Animal Agriculture in Abuja yesterday, said his administration was working to transform Nigeria into a leading livestock production and processing hub in Africa.
