The United States Department of State has designated a Nigerian, two other individuals and six entities as financiers of ISIS.
The three individuals and six entities, the US Department of State said, operate across Europe, the Middle East and West Africa, where they have allegedly enabled ISIS to move money across borders.
The spokesperson for the United States Department of State, Thomas Pigott, in a statement issued in Washington DC, said that under the leadership of President Donald Trump, the United States is dismantling ISIS’s ability to finance terrorism around the world.
