The Legislative Arm of Warri South Local Government Council has passed a resolution declaring that there are no Ijaw aboriginal communities within Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State.
The resolution was adopted during an open plenary session convened to deliberate on concerns arising from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)’s ongoing ward delineation exercise.
During the session, representatives of protesting Itsekiri and Urhobo youths were invited to present their positions on the ward delineation process and its implications for the local government.
